Can I travel with a wheelchair or aid of assistance dog?

Modified on Mon, 8 Apr at 10:45 PM

Currently, European Sleeper's trains do not have full facilities for people with disabilities or reduced mobility. We are working hard to make this possible in the future.

However, foldable wheelchairs can be carried as luggage. Please contact customer service at service@europeansleeper.eu to let us know. Please note that travelling on the train with a wheelchair is not possible. For travel with another aid, please contact us by sending an email to service@europeansleeper.eu. Travelling with an assistance dog is allowed. However, you must book a private compartment. For a free upgrade to a private compartment, email service@europeansleeper.eu.

Train staff offer assistance on the train wherever possible. Please notify us of your need for assistance at least 2 days before departure by sending an e-mail to service@europeansleeper.eu.

If you need assistance at the station, please submit your request in good time to SNCB for Belgium (www.belgiantrain.be/nl/travel-info/prepare-for-your-journey/assistance-reduced-mobility), NS reisassistentie for the Netherlands (www.ns.nl/reisinformatie/reizen-met-een-beperking/ns-reisassistentie.html), DB Mobilitätsservice-Zentrale for Germany (www.bahn.de/service/individuelle-reise/barrierefrei) or CD for the Czech Republic (www.cd.cz/cestovani-zdravotne-hendikepovanych/default.htm).
