I'm travelling by train to a departure station. How do I check out with my public transport chip card?

You arrange transport to a European Sleeper departure station yourself. To check out at the European Sleeper departure station, there are often check-in and out points on the platform. If not, you can check out by opening an outside door with your public transport chip card but not walking out.
