What are the rules for travelling with a bicycle on European Sleeper?

To ensure everything runs smoothly, please make sure your bike complies with our house rules:

• Only standard bicycles are allowed — including race and mountain bikes. Oversized bikes or items attached to the bike are not permitted. This includes tandems, recumbent bikes, trailers, carts, motorcycles, mopeds, mobility scooters, cargo bikes (bakfiets), and fat bikes.
• All luggage must be removed from the bike. We recommend storing it in your compartment. Bike crates must also be detached.
• We advise you to lock your bike for safety.
• Your bike must be clean (seats should not get dirty).
• The bicycle handlebar must be able to turn, in case the bike doesn’t fit through a door.
• It is not allowed to charge batteries on board the train.
• Bikes that do not meet these conditions may be refused or removed from the train.
