What is a couchette compartment?

In the couchette compartment, there are 5 or 6 seats available during the day which fold down at night into couchettes. A couchette compartment has 5 or 6 berths which are used by your fellow passengers. You can also book the couchette compartment as a private compartment. To book, choose the comfort level: couchette. 

1. A good night's sleep for small groups, families and individual passengers.
2. Seats for the evening and beds for the night.
3. Can also be booked privately. 
4. Blankets, sheets and pillows are provided.
5. Men and women travel together, except in the women-only compartments. 
6. Washing facilities and toilets in the carriage.
7. Including a bottle of water. 
8. Drinks and snacks can be purchased from the train crew.
9. You can buy your breakfast on our website.
